Cristina Najjar: I first found yoga in 2009 when a friend brought me to a donation based power yoga class in Santa Monica, California. This sweaty physical practice promptly grabbed my attention and I started practicing regularly as a way to connect to my body and unwind my mind. My yoga journey evolved and intensified with the loss of my mother in 2009. So I used the time on my mat to grieve and work through a wave of emotions. In the process, I ended up gathering a new source of abundance and a desire to share this peace with others. In 2012, I completed 2 vinyasa yoga teacher training programs and made the transition from tutoring math to teaching yoga.
In 2013, I moved to Dubai for an international graduate degree (MBA) and met my husband teaching yoga in the park. Today, I am still based in Dubai where my intention in teaching is to help people get to know their bodies more deeply. My flows are fun and empowering with the aim to benefit people physically and mentally.
